Emerald Dance Centre trading as DancEdge Emerald is an incorporated association which was established in 2001. DancEdge Emerald has also previously been known as Emerald Ballet Scholarship Fund Committee and Emerald Ballet School which had been operational in Emerald since the 1960's.

In 2013, Emerald Dance Centre branched out to incorporate 'Barcy Edge', our dance school at Barcaldine, and we subsequently changed our Emerald dance name to 'DancEdge Emerald'.

Unfortunately we no longer run a dance school at Barcaldine, however our Emerald Dance school still trades under the name "DancEdge Emerald".

DancEdge Emerald continues to be run by a Management Committee of volunteers. Together with our Dance Co-ordinator, our qualified dance instructors, our Administration and our DancEdge Emerald families, we strive to make our centre the best it can be. The contributions of each and every member of DancEdge Emerald is acknowledged and valued - teamwork makes the dreamwork!
